MacKillop Catholic Regional College is seeking a passionate Business Management Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 (part-time considered).

About MacKillop College

MacKillop is a Catholic co-educational College in the Josephite tradition, inspired by the vision of St. Mary of the Cross MacKillop. We are committed to nurturing lifelong learners who engage authentically, embrace diversity, and strive for personal excellence in all aspects of life.
About the role
We invite passionate educators at every stage of their career to join our vibrant community of dedicated teachers.

At MacKillop, our Business Management Teachers inspire students to explore the dynamic world of business, developing their understanding of how organisations operate, make decisions and respond to an ever-changing business environment. Through the study of key business concepts, students investigate entrepreneurship, exploring how business ideas are generated, developed and transformed into viable opportunities.

Our Business Management curriculum encourages students to investigate the relationship between the internal and external environments of a business and how these influence planning, decision-making and business success. Students explore business models, legal structures, staffing and the roles of business owners, while developing an understanding of the legal and government regulations that influence businesses during the planning stage. They also examine how societal values, beliefs, attitudes, behaviours and emerging trends shape business opportunities and influence the way organisations operate.

Through engaging learning experiences, students develop the ability to analyse business information, evaluate management decisions and consider the challenges and opportunities facing contemporary organisations. By connecting theoretical knowledge with real-world business examples and current issues, students build valuable skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and commercial awareness.
