<p>Holy Name Primary School is seeking applications for a part time Mathematics leader (FTE 0.4, Fixed Term) for 2027 as a maternity leave replacement. Workings days are currently set as Tuesday and Wednesday.</p> <p>Holy Name is a child-safe school and is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated and collaborative educator who wishes to work in a supportive, community minded school, and share a commitment to developing the full potential of the students in their care.</p> <p>This position would suit someone who is eager to further develop their leadership capabilities within a child-safe and evidence based learning school.</p> <p>The successful applicant would be required to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop teacher knowledge through professional learning</li> <li>Develop teacher capacity to work with the Victorian Curriculum&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with the Literacy Leader and other leaders to analyse student data, and improve practices&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with the Leadership team to further develop the goals in the School Improvement Plan and Annual Action Plan.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Applicants will need to demonstrate their understanding and commitment to:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Explicit teaching of Mathematics</li> <li>Planning in a collaborative environment facilitated by curriculum leaders</li> <li>Data driven teaching and learning, focused on continuous improvement and growth</li> <li>An understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and in particular Mathematics</li> <li>Using data to facilitate a differentiated approach to the curriculum to support student needs</li> <li>A culture of feedback and continuous improvement to further their own development and that of staff</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Requirements</strong></p> <p><strong>VIT Accreditation</strong><br><strong>Australian Citizen</strong><br> &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
