<p>St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school in a Junior full time classroom teaching postion to cover a maternity leave position.</p> <p>The successful application will be required to:</p> <ul> <li>&nbsp;Demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic ethos, mission and values of the school.</li> <li>Demonstrate sound knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and its effective implementation.</li> <li>Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed and differentiated learning programs, particularly in English and Mathematics.</li> <li>Demonstrate knowledge and application of explicit instruction, aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.</li> <li>Use assessment data to identify student learning needs, monitor progress and inform teaching practice.</li> <li>Establish positive, respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families, fostering an inclusive learning environment.</li> <li>Work collaboratively within professional learning teams to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Commit to ongoing professional learning, reflective practice and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p>St. Scholastica's is committed to the safety, well being and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <p>VIT registration</p> <p>Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.</p>
