St Aloysius' College is seeking an experienced, innovative technology leader as Head of Digital Innovation and Technology to provide strategic leadership across the College's digital strategy, ICT team, AI, cyber security, data analytics, and innovation priorities.

<p>St Aloysius' College is seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative technology leader as the Head of Digital Innovation and Technology, providing strategic leadership across the College's digital strategy, technology, Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, data analytics and innovation priorities.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, you will work closely with the College Leadership Team and academic leaders to develop and implement a future-focused technology roadmap aligned with the College's Strategic Plan and Master Plan. You will provide strategic advice on technology, digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, ensuring technology investments support educational excellence and organisational effectiveness.</p>
<p>Leading the ICT Team across multiple campuses, you will cultivate a culture of service, innovation and continuous improvement, while providing strategic oversight of technology infrastructure, systems and services. You will lead major technology projects, oversee vendor relationships and technology investments, and ensure reliable, responsive and customer-focused technology services across the College.</p>
<p>A key focus of the role will be ensuring technology enhances learning, teaching and assessment, while supporting the ethical and effective use of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. You will also lead the College's cyber security strategy and technology risk management, with oversight of information governance, data protection, business continuity, disaster recovery and data analytics.</p>

<p><strong>Your Application</strong></p>
<p>To be considered for this position, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education and the Jesuit tradition;</li>
<li>School experience is highly desirable though not essential;</li>
<li>Demonstrated leadership experience in technology, including leading, mentoring and developing an ICT Team and cultivating a culture of service, innovation and continuous improvement;</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience developing, recommending and implementing digital strategies and technology architecture in alignment with the College's Strategic Plan and Master Plan initiatives;</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading major technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations and new implementations, and supporting digital transformation;</li>
<li>Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, information systems, cyber security, information governance, privacy, risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery;</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, data analytics and emerging technologies, including their opportunities, risks and educational implications;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to use data and technology to support strategic planning, educational improvement and organisational decision-making;</li>
<li>Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills, with demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, vendor management and technology budgeting;</li>
<li>Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Working with Children Check and demonstrate a strong commitment to child safeguarding principles and practices.</li>
