Working both independently and collaboratively, you will deliver high-quality carpentry and maintenance services while ensuring minimal disruption to College operations.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform a broad range of planned and reactive carpentry and maintenance works across the College</li> <li>Carry out installations, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance of buildings and facilities</li> <li>Respond to maintenance requests and prioritise work effectively to meet operational needs</li> <li>Deliver a consistently high standard of workmanship with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Work closely with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes</li> <li>Assist with maintenance projects, operational activities, and College events as required</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of completed works through the College's service request system</li> <li>Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute practical solutions to enhance facilities and services</li> <li>Respond to urgent or emergency maintenance requirements, including occasional after-hours work</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a Carpenter, preferably with a trade qualification and relevant school facilities experience</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Proven ability to produce high-quality work and take pride in your craft</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li> <li>Comfortable working autonomously when required, and as part of a collaborative team</li> <li>Commitment to workplace health and safety practices</li> <li>Current Queensland Driver Licence</li> <li>Current Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About St Peters Lutheran College</strong></p> <p>St Peters Lutheran College is one of Queensland’s leading independent co-educational schools, offering education from Prep to Year 12 across multiple campuses.
