We are seeking a full-time temporary HR Administration Officer to support recruitment, onboarding, and contract processes for our CSBB Schools.

We invite parents, caregivers, and students to discover a Catholic education delivered with care and compassion, available through our Kindergarten to Year 12 pathways.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong>  &nbsp;</p> <p>With our&nbsp;annual&nbsp;peak&nbsp;School recruitment period underway, we are looking for a HR<strong> Administration Officer </strong>to play a key role in supporting our contract preparation and data entry during this period. You will have the responsibility to deliver expectational customer service to our school leaders and employees within Catholic Schools Broken Bay. This is a <strong>temporary, full-time</strong> role to commence on <strong>12 October 2026</strong> and conclude on<strong> 23 April 2027. </strong>  &nbsp;</p> <p>This role supports the effective delivery of key HR operations, including comprehensive pre-employment checks (such as the Working with Children Check and Teacher Accreditation), contract preparation and management, and onboarding processes. It also requires the accurate and timely entry of data into the HRIS system.&nbsp;</p> <p>A strong focus on detail is essential, as the role involves managing a high volume of data entry, validation, and contract-related administrative tasks on a daily basis.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the first level contact (i.e. triage officer) for the resolution of all requests and queries  &nbsp;</li> <li>Administer contracts of employment, maintain HR records, and ensure data processed into our HRIS system is accurate  &nbsp;</li> <li>Manage onboarding procedures for school and central office staff &nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all new hires and changes to existing employment arrangements in the system &nbsp;</li> <li>Provide accurate, timely and quality advice, information and guidance to leaders and staff   &nbsp;</li> <li>Ensures all new appointment and employment adjustments satisfy legislative or organisational policy requirements  &nbsp;</li> <li>Provide high-quality advice whilst remaining responsive to the client needs OR escalate matters to senior leaders  &nbsp;</li> <li>Analyse issues, metrics and trends to identify and manage risk and/or recommend actions  &nbsp;</li> <li>Monitors and maintains the teacher and school support staff casual resource pool&nbsp;</li> <li> <p>A deep commitment to safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and prioritising child safety  &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2+ years of HR Administration experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Completed or working towards an HR qualification e.g. Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, AHRI certification&nbsp;</li> <li>Supportive of the Catholic ethos and values&nbsp;</li> <li>Quick learner with a pro-active mindset&nbsp;</li> <li>Keen eye for detail ensuring quality in all aspects of work&nbsp;</li> <li>Process-orientated individual with strong organisational skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while ensuring consistency and accuracy across all tasks&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining positive relationships&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines&nbsp;</li> <li>Display a friendly and professional demeanour with excellent written &amp; verbal communications skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Solid skills in using the Microsoft Office Suite&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Benefits of Working with Us</strong>  &nbsp;</p> <p>An <strong>attractive salary</strong> on offer, <strong>onsite parking</strong> or public transport within close proximity and the opportunity to <strong>work from home 1 day a week.</strong> &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Application Process</strong>  &nbsp;</p> <p>Applications should include:  &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing each of the essential criteria listed above; and  &nbsp;</li> <li>A current resume  &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Closing Date: <strong>5pm, Monday 5 October 2026</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p> <strong>We will be reviewing applications and interviewing as soon as possible. </strong> &nbsp;</p> <p><i>At Catholic Schools Broken Bay, child safety is paramount.
