Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, Faith Lutheran College offers students exceptional opportunities to connect classroom learning with contemporary agricultural practices and industry partnerships.</p> <p>Our Agriculture program is highly valued within the College and provides students with practical, hands-on learning experiences while developing their understanding of contemporary agricultural practices, sustainability and emerging industry trends.</p> <p><strong>The Position</strong></p> <p>As an <strong>Agriculture Teacher</strong>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Teach Agriculture across Middle and Senior School year levels.</li> <li>Design and deliver engaging, contemporary learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking and practical skill development.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate curriculum and assessment practices.</li> <li>Support student participation in practical agricultural activities, excursions, competitions and industry-based learning opportunities.</li> <li>Contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of the College's viticulture and winemaking programs.</li> <li>Foster positive relationships with students, families and staff to support academic achievement and wellbeing.</li> <li>Create inclusive learning environments that cater for diverse student needs and encourage every learner to flourish.</li> <li>Contribute to the College's pastoral care, co-curricular and wellbeing programs.</li> <li>Utilise contemporary teaching practices and digital technologies to enhance learning outcomes.</li> <li>Actively participate in the broader life of the College and support its Christian ethos.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Hold relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.</li> <li>Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for Agriculture education.</li> <li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices.</li> <li>Have experience teaching Agriculture, Agricultural Science or related subjects.</li> <li>Possess excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>Be a collaborative team member who values innovation, reflection and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Have an interest in, or experience with, agricultural enterprises, viticulture and/or winemaking programs.</li> <li>Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of Faith Lutheran College and Lutheran Education Australia.</li> </ul> <p>Faith Lutheran College, located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, is a thriving co-educational R-12 College.
