<p><strong>The Job</strong></p> <p>St Virgil’s College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and collaborative leader to the position of Director of Sport and Community Liaison. Reporting to the Principal, and as a member of the College Leadership team, the successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>Be responsible for the overall planning, management and implementation of the College’s entire sports program</li> <li>Have a deep commitment to student wellbeing, and foster a culture of participation and inclusivity for students at all levels and abilities</li> <li>Drive and inspire innovative sporting pathways and build strong community partnerships.</li> </ul> <p>This is a <strong>fulltime, ongoing position commencing January 2027. </strong>The successful candidate will have access to a fully maintained vehicle, for the purpose of undertaking the role. It is expected the position will have an associated small teaching load, and so a teaching background will be highly regarded, together with experience building trusted relationships with students, families and staff.</p> <p>Candidates who have relevant qualifications and extensive experience in Sport, but do not hold a teacher registration, are also encouraged to apply.</p> <p>The successful candidate will need to exhibit a personal commitment to the mission and vision of St Virgil's College and work within the confines of Commonwealth Privacy and Safeguarding legislation.</p> <p><strong>Our Expectations</strong></p> <p>St Virgil's College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore successful applicants must be willing to undergo and complete child protection screening and onboarding.
