This is a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) position to cover Long Service Leave. The position will be in either Kindergarten or Pre-Primary, so the successful applicant must be prepared and appropriately trained to teach in either setting.</p> <p>Salary is based on the College’s Teacher Pay Scale and negotiable on qualifications and experience. A copy of the salary scale, <i>Code of Conduct, and Statement of Faith&nbsp;</i>are available upon request to the email contact provided in this advert.</p> <p>KEY EXPECTATIONS</p> <p>Successful applicants will be practising evangelical, protestant Christians, who are able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework. All teachers will need to accept the College’s <i>Code of Conduct</i> (including Statement of Faith) and meet all compliance requirements. All teachers will be expected to&nbsp;be&nbsp;able to teach from a Christian worldview.</p> <p>&nbsp;SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated personal Christian faith and the ability to support the College's Christian vision and mission</li> <li>Demonstrated reflective practice, ongoing professional growth and contribution to whole-school improvement</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community</li> <li>Comprehensive knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and early years frameworks, with the ability to design differentiated learning</li> <li>Demonstrated use of data and evidence-based, high impact teaching strategies</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to support students with diverse learning, social and cultural needs while promoting safety and wellbeing</li> <li>Excellent classroom management and organisational skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents</li> </ul>
