Come and let your light shine at Lumen Christi.</p> <p><i><strong>Salary Range:&nbsp;</strong>DPCB 4.1–4.4 (Enrolment 550–699), commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).</i></p> <p><i><strong>Employment Arrangement</strong></i></p> <p>The successful applicant will be employed as an ongoing Classroom Teacher, with the Position of Leadership as Deputy Principal appointed for a two-year term from 2027 to 2028.</p> <p>In accordance with the employment structure at Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School, the successful applicant will maintain their substantive ongoing employment as a Classroom Teacher throughout this period. The Deputy Principal Position of Leadership is a two-year appointment and does not constitute an ongoing appointment to the Deputy Principal position.</p> <p>As an integral part of the Deputy Principal role, the successful applicant will also hold responsibility for Faith Formation Leadership for the duration of the 2027–2028 appointment.</p> <p><i><strong>Special Requirements</strong></i></p> <ul> <li><i>Lumen Christi Catholic Primary School is committed to promoting the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children. The successful applicant must demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to creating and maintaining a child-safe environment.</i></li> <li><i>A Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification is required. A Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in education, leadership or a related field would be highly regarded.</i></li> <li><i>Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration is required.</i></li> <li><i>Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is essential.</i></li> <li><i>Applicants are required to provide the contact details of three professional referees. A fourth referee from the applicant’s local Parish Priest would be highly regarded.</i></li> </ul>
