<p>Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, forward- thinking and suitably qualified Laboratory Manager to our Science Learning Area team, commencing in Term 4 2026 <i>(or as soon as possible). </i>This will initially be a fixed term contract with the opportunity for ongoing.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the day to day operation of our Science laboratories, including the supervision and organisation of laboratory staff and equipment/ assets to ensure operations are complementary to a vibrant teaching and learning environment.<br><br><strong>The successful candidate will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children</li> <li>relevant post-secondary qualifications and a minimum of 5 years laboratory experience</li> <li>experience in leading or supervising a team</li> <li>a strong interest in supporting students’ learning</li> <li>a working knowledge of current OH&amp;S legislation</li> <li>strong administrative skills, including computerised record keeping</li> <li>the ability to work independently and as a leader of a team</li> <li>the ability to prioritise and organise tasks</li> <li>current WWCC and Victorian Police Check (or prepared to obtain them)</li> <li>relevant permissions to work in Australia</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to the&nbsp;Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.</p> <p><strong>Aquinas College promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</strong><br><br> For a copy of the <strong>Position Description</strong> click <a href="https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xKPxOdjVJcCh9XEQJZTAPlMMvm-MuxRJ" rel="nofollow"><strong>Laboratory Manager</strong></a><br><br><i><strong>To apply -</strong></i> Interested applicants should apply via the Aquinas College website.
