As an <strong>Year Coordinator</strong>, you will lead a cohort of students providing quality pastoral and academic care to ensure students can meet their full potential. You will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time, permanent and open to any key learning area.<br><br>
You will bring:-</p>
<ul>
<li>proven experience leading student care, behaviour support and wellbeing programs across the school</li>
<li>ability to use student data (such as attendance, behavioural and wellbeing records) to identify trends, improve support systems and make informed decision that benefit students</li>
<li>the ability to remain calm, objective and composed when managing complex student behaviours</li>
<li>experience in building trusting, transparent and respectful partnerships with parents and carers.</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to navigate complex family dynamics, communicate proactively regarding student progress or concerns.</li>
<li>high level expertise as a classroom practitioner</li>
<li>ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>demonstrated excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li>
<li>ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a> would be an advantage.</li>
