Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Shellharbour Parish with an enrolment of approximately 408 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Stella Maris Catholic Primary School, Shellharbour</p> <p>A temporary part time position commencing 28 January 2027 until 26 January 2028.&nbsp;The successful applicant will be required to teach Creative Arts - Music, Dance and Drama.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School.</li> <li>Experience in teaching Music in a Primary School setting.</li> <li>Assistance with liturgical events.</li> <li>Ability to implement differentiated learning and assessment experiences for students in the teaching of the NSW Creative Arts Syllabus.</li> <li>Experience in leading school band and choir programs.</li> <li>Positive strategies for managing student behaviour and high expectations for student learning within the SPB4L Framework.</li> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work flexibly within a shared teaching arrangement.</li> </ul> <p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p> <ul> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications in Teaching - Creative Arts (Music Syllabus).</li> <li>Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with&nbsp;<strong>To Work, Teach and Lead</strong>&nbsp;policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application which asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p><strong>Closing date: 16 September 2026 at 11.55pm</strong></p>
