This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced educational leader who can inspire others, lead change effectively and develop a cohesive, high-performing team committed to achieving exceptional outcomes for students.</p> <p><strong>This is a Permanent Full-Time teaching position with a three-year (3-point) promotional appointment as Head of English (2027–2029).</strong></p> <p>The Head of English is responsible for the leadership and management of the English Department and for strengthening student learning, engagement and achievement across Years 5–12.</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Curriculum, the successful applicant will lead curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment, staff development and Department improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with NESA requirements, College priorities and contemporary evidence-informed practice.</p> <p>The role includes responsibility for curriculum oversight, assessment and reporting processes, Department planning, resource management and the continuous improvement of student outcomes.
