<p>St Paul’s Catholic Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated <strong>Physical Education Teacher</strong> to join our vibrant school community.</p> <p>The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate Physical Education programs for students from <strong>Transition to Year 6</strong>.</p> <p>The successful applicant will inspire students to develop confidence, competence and enjoyment in physical activity, while building an understanding of the importance of healthy and active lifestyles.</p> <ul> <li>Planning and delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.</li> <li>Developing students’ fundamental movement skills, fitness, coordination, teamwork and sporting knowledge.</li> <li>Creating inclusive learning experiences that encourage participation, confidence, resilience and enjoyment of physical activity.</li> <li>Promoting positive attitudes towards health, fitness, fair play, sportsmanship and lifelong physical activity.</li> <li>Planning and coordinating school sporting events, including swimming and athletics carnivals, sporting gala days and inter-school sporting opportunities.</li> <li>Preparing students for participation in carnivals, gala days and representative sporting events.</li> <li>Working collaboratively with classroom teachers and other specialist staff to support student learning and wellbeing.</li> <li>Maintaining appropriate records of student achievement and using assessment to inform future teaching.</li> <li>Supporting the development of a positive sporting culture that reflects the values of St Paul’s Catholic Primary School.</li> <li>Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events, activities and initiatives that promote student engagement and community participation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You're an enthusiastic and skilled Physical Education Teacher who:</p> <ul> <li>Holds relevant teaching qualifications and experience, particularly in a primary school setting.</li> <li>Has a deep passion for physical education for young children.</li> <li>Is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and joyful learning environment.</li> <li>Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a collaborative team setting.</li> <li>Is eager to contribute to a strong school community where wellbeing is a priority.</li> </ul>
