<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver individual and/or small-group cello lessons.</li> <li>Develop students' cello technique, musicianship, sight-reading, aural awareness and performance confidence.</li> <li>Support students in preparing for concerts, recitals, ensemble performances, liturgical events and other College performances.</li> <li>Support and/or conduct String Ensemble rehearsals and performances as required.</li> <li>Provide constructive feedback to students regarding their progress and development.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts and wider Music Team.</li> <li>Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the College's strings program.</li> <li>Prepare students for AMEB examinations where applicable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications and/or demonstrated experience as a cello and strings tutor.</li> <li>Strong expertise in cello technique, musicianship and performance preparation.</li> <li>The ability to teach students in individual and small-group settings.</li> <li>Experience preparing students for concerts, recitals and ensemble performances.</li> <li>Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.</li> <li>The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive Performing Arts team.</li> <li>A commitment to the Catholic identity, Salesian charism and values of the College.</li> <li>A strong commitment to Child Safety and the wellbeing of young people.</li> <li>A current Working With Children Check.</li> </ul>
