Our mission - 'A Christian environment for each student and staff member to develop their God-given abilities for LIFE and community'.</p> <p>Our College values of LOVE, COURAGE, FORGIVENESS, and HOPE are upheld through application of The Endeavour Way,&nbsp;and our community values staff&nbsp;who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is&nbsp;based on caring relationships.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time – 12 month Maternity Leave Cover</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a full-time Secondary Teacher to cover Maternity Leave for 2027.</p> <p>We envision an experienced teacher with a proven record in secondary education, who has an understanding and is able to implement restorative practices and the principles of Lutheran Education to join the College. Experience in Health &amp; Wellbeing (Stage 1 &amp; 2), with the ability to teach year 7-10 physical education is required.</p> <p>You must have the following knowledge and skills: </p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills &nbsp;</li> <li>Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education. &nbsp;</li> <li>Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment &nbsp;</li> <li>Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school. &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>All teaching staff are expected to continually engage in professional learning and development to improve teaching knowledge and practices. All work is to be performed&nbsp;in accordance with&nbsp;Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) professional standards.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>You are highly organised, have excellent communications skills and have an ability to build strong relationships with a collaborative&nbsp;problem solving and&nbsp;solution-focused approach to their teaching practice and team skills whilst striving for continuous improvement.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant&nbsp;will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant leadership experience</li> <li>Hold or be willing and able to obtain and maintain a current clearance to work with children (WWCC)</li> <li>Hold or be willing to maintain a current Responding to Risk, Harm and Neglect in an educational setting (RRHAN-EC)</li> <li>Hold a current South Australian Teachers Registration Certificate</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, set, and prioritise work</li> <li>Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills</li> <li>Significant experience leading a team</li> <li>Motivation and a&nbsp;passion to work&nbsp;with and support&nbsp;young people on their educational journey.</li> <li>Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Successful applicants can expect:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A caring and supportive Christian community environment</li> <li>Supportive leadership, and a collaborative team environment</li> <li>To be a positive and&nbsp;significant role model&nbsp;for all students&nbsp;of Endeavour College</li> </ul> <p>We look forward to appointing a talented and motivated individual to join our College community.
