<p>St Narsai Assyrian Christian College is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and community-minded <strong>School Traffic &amp; Crossing Supervisor</strong> to assist with the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians during school drop-off and pick-up times.</p> <p>The successful applicant will play an important role in supporting the safety of students, staff, parents and visitors, while providing a visible, approachable and professional presence within the school community.</p> <p><strong>Duty Hours</strong></p> <p>This is a part-time position, Monday-Friday during school terms, with hours from 7am-9am and 2pm-3:30 pm.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Direct and manage traffic flow during student drop-off and pick-up times.</li> <li>Ensure the safety of students, staff, parents, and visitors in and around the school grounds.</li> <li>Monitor designated crossing and loading zones.</li> <li>Communicate courteously and effectively with parents, staff, and visitors.</li> <li>Assist in always maintaining a safe and orderly environment.</li> <li>Report any safety concerns or incidents to the relevant school personnel.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Skills and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in traffic control, security, customer service, or a similar role.</li> <li>Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.</li> <li>Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Applicants who have practical maintenance, groundskeeping, or general handyman skills may have the opportunity to undertake maintenance duties during the school day.
