<p>Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College is a leading independent Catholic secondary school for girls (Years 7–12). <p>An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Events & Community Relations Coordinator to join our dynamic Development and Community Relations team.</p>
<p>This role is central to the planning and delivery of the College’s major fundraising and community-building (“friend-raising”) events and serves as the primary liaison for the Parents & Friends Association. Working closely with the Director of Development and Community Relations, you will collaborate across teams to create meaningful, engaging experiences for the wider College community.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Events Management</strong></p>
<p>- Plan, design, budget, promote, and deliver the College’s major annual events</p>
<p>- Lead a range of community fundraising initiatives</p>
<p>- Oversee event logistics, stakeholder engagement, timelines, and post-event evaluation.</p>
<p><strong>Community Relations</strong></p>
<p>- Act as the day-to-day contact between the College and the P&F Association</p>
<p>- Foster strong relationships that support community engagement and participation.<strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are a proactive, highly organised professional with exceptional attention to detail. You communicate clearly and confidently, build strong relationships, and thrive when managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Skills & Experience</strong></p>
<p>- Tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in Event Management</p>
<p>- Demonstrated success delivering events on time and within budget</p>
<p>- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across diverse stakeholders</p>
<p>- Experience coordinating external suppliers and contractors</p>
<p>- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)</p>
<p>- Experience using digital marketing tools (e.g., Campaign Monitor)</p>
<p>- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines</p>
<p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p>
<p>- Advanced proofreading and editing capabilities</p>
<p>- Strong customer-service mindset</p>
<p>- Sound judgment, flexibility, and forward planning.</p>
<p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p>
<p>This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) working throughout the year during both term time and school holiday periods, with the exception of 4 weeks’ annual leave per year. Standard core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, however due to the nature of this role, attendance at after-hours meetings and College events will be required.</p>
