<p><strong>Working with Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga,</strong></p>
<p><a href="https://ww.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga</a> (CEDWW) serves 24 primary schools, five secondary colleges and two boarding facilities across the Riverina and South West NSW.</p>

<p><strong>Purpose of this position</strong></p>
<p>The Director, Evangelisation and Religious Education provides executive leadership for Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga, with overall accountability for Evangelisation, Religious Education and the strengthening of Catholic identity and mission across all diocesan educational settings. As a member of the CEDWW Leadership Management Team, the Director provides strategic leadership, oversight and comprehensive support to schools in advancing the Church’s mission of evangelisation and catechesis, in alignment with the CEDWW Strategic Improvement Plan and broader systemic policies.</p>
<p>The Director works collaboratively with the Bishop, clergy, lay leaders and school principals to nurture and strengthen the religious dimension of Catholic education within a professional educational framework. The role provides leadership for the development of vibrant Catholic school communities, ensuring that evangelisation, faith formation and Religious Education are integral to the life, culture, curriculum and mission of each school.</p>
<p>The Director is ultimately accountable to the Executive Director of Catholic Education for the strategic direction and effectiveness of Evangelisation and Religious Education across the Diocese. The role leads the development of system-wide initiatives, formation opportunities, curriculum and pedagogical support, and resources that build the capacity of leaders and teachers to authentically witness to and teach the Catholic faith.</p>
<p>The Director is expected to be an active witness to Catholic life and demonstrate a deep commitment to the Church’s educational mission. Through strong relational, strategic and theological leadership, the Director fosters a vibrant Catholic identity across the diverse school communities of the Diocese of Wagga Wagga and ensures that Catholic education remains centred on the person of Jesus Christ, the Gospel and the formation of young people in faith, hope and service.</p>
