We're looking for an organised, people-focused Front Office & Student Services Officer to support students, families and staff in our busy Kindy to Year 12 school in Forrestfield. <p>HillSide Christian College is a thriving Christian school in Forrestfield, serving approximately 460 students from Kindy to Year 12. We are seeking a warm, organised and professional&nbsp;<strong>Front Office &amp; Student Services Officer</strong>&nbsp;to join our administration team. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position through to the end of the year, with the opportunity for extension.</p> <p>As the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front office environment while supporting student wellbeing and day-to-day school operations.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Office Manager, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Welcome and assist students, parents, staff and visitors.</li> <li>Manage phone, email and front desk enquiries.</li> <li>Support student attendance, welfare and first aid administration.</li> <li>Maintain accurate College records and databases.</li> <li>Prepare correspondence, documents and reports.</li> <li>Contribute positively to the Christian mission and culture of the College.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working independently and proactively in Student Services, reception, administration or a similar customer-focused role.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional manner.</li> <li>A high level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when managing confidential information.</li> <li>Strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing tasks.</li> <li>Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a busy office environment.</li> <li>Motivation and a genuine passion for supporting young people on their educational journey.</li> <li>Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in a school environment.</li> <li>Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).</li> <li>Experience with SEQTA or similar school management systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>A genuine opportunity to make a real difference for the students and families in our community.</li> <li>A caring, faith-filled community where you are known, valued and supported.</li> <li>Encouraging leadership and a friendly, collaborative team you can rely on.</li> <li>The chance to be a trusted role model and positive influence for every student at HillSide Christian College.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Employment Requirements</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will be required to:</p> <ul> <li>Hold or obtain a current Working with Children Check.</li> <li>Hold or obtain a National Police Clearance.</li> <li>Sign the College's Employment Contract, Code of Conduct and Faith Statement.</li> <li>Demonstrate unlimited working rights within Australia.</li> </ul>
