<p>Sacred Heart Primary School is seeking enthusiastic and committed Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) to join our welcoming and supportive school community.</p> <p>These flexible casual positions provide opportunities to teach across Foundation to Year 6 and specialist programs when classroom teachers are absent. Employment will commence as soon as possible, with work offered based on personal availability and school needs.</p> <p>There may also be opportunities for longer-term contracts or ongoing positions.</p> <p>Our Casual Relief Teachers play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning while nurturing the academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth of every student.</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the Catholic identity and values of Sacred Heart.</li> <li>Deliver engaging learning using plans provided by the classroom teacher.</li> <li>Create safe, positive and inclusive learning environments.</li> <li>Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive behaviour expectations.</li> <li>Support students with diverse learning and wellbeing needs.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with Learning Support Officers and school staff.</li> <li>Communicate professionally and provide clear feedback to classroom teachers.</li> <li>Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility and a strong commitment to child safety.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Selection Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of Sacred Heart.</li> <li>Ability to create safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.</li> <li>Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills.</li> <li>Ability to support the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of students.</li> <li>Strong communication and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Commitment to child safety, professional conduct and school policies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applicants will be required to submit:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Cover letter</li> <li>Resume</li> <li>Complete the Application Form</li> </ul> <p><strong>Special Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.</li> <li>Current Mandatory Reporting training.</li> <li>Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications (desirable).</li> <li>Demonstrated commitment to Child Safe Standards and the safeguarding of children.</li> <li>Willingness to work flexibly across Foundation to Year 6 and specialist programs based on school needs.</li> <li>Experience teaching in primary school settings and supporting students with diverse learning needs (desirable).</li> </ul> <p><i>Guided by our vision of “the pursuit of fullness of life for all,” DOBCEL is committed to inclusion and the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children and young people in our care.
