<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>Reporting to the Head of Business, this role is a standalone Payroll where you'll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function for approximately 180 employees. Alongside payroll, you will manage compliance and reporting, becoming a trusted point of contact for staff across the school.</p>
<p>This role is much more than processing payroll. We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, building relationships, improving processes and taking pride in delivering an exceptional service to staff.</p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are a detail-oriented and highly organised payroll professional who is focused on accuracy and financial integrity. With excellent attention to detail, you have demonstrated your ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. You are flexible and adaptable, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>End-to-end payroll processing </li>
<li>Processing leave, superannuation, salary packaging and STP reporting</li>
<li>Payroll reconciliations and year-end processing.</li>
<li>Payroll reporting, audits and budgeting support.</li>
<li>Supporting staff with payroll enquiries</li>
<li>Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and reporting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements</li>
<li>Experience managing payroll autonomously.</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Payroll system experience in Micropay will be highly regarded.</li>
