<p><strong>The Role</strong> </p>
<p>Reporting to the Senior Finance Executive, this this is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.</p>
<p>As Finance Systems Lead, you will take clear ownership of our key financial platforms such has TechnologyOne, Compass providing dedicated expertise, coordination and functional leadership across the systems that underpin financial operations and school-facing processes.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Own and provide functional leadership across TechnologyOne, Compass and Online Enrolments</strong></li>
<li>Lead end-to-end project delivery for system change initiatives — from scoping, vendor engagement and testing through to training and go-live</li>
<li>Act as the central point of accountability for Compass, coordinating requirements and guiding decisions across multiple workstreams</li>
<li>Manage vendor relationships and coordinate the prioritisation and delivery of system enhancements, patches and integrations</li>
<li>Engage and influence stakeholders across central office and school communities, managing expectations and supporting timely delivery</li>
<li>Deliver training to specialist users and school staff, including cluster-based school visits as required</li>
<li>Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for efficiency, automation and improved user experience</li>
<li>Contribute to evaluations and recommendations for system improvements and product decisions</li>
<li>Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides and training materials</li>
<li>Apply financial systems expertise to design and refine operational processes</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong> </p>
<p>You are a confident, experienced systems professional ready to hit the ground running in a complex, fast-paced environment</p>
<p>You will bring: </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Significant experience as a functional lead, system SME or ERP administrator in a large, complex organisation</strong></li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with TechnologyOne or a comparable enterprise finance ERP platform</li>
<li>Strong project management capability; able to scope, plan, coordinate vendors and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes</li>
<li>Resilient & comfortable managing competing priorities, adapting quickly and meeting demanding deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiences</li>
<li>A solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability</li>
<li>Exceptional stakeholder coordination skills across multi-functional teams</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Tertiary qualification relevant to finance, information systems or a related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience</strong></li>
<li>CPA or CA qualification (highly regarded)</li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)</li>
<li>Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (for occasional school visits)</li>
