<p><strong>Finance Business Partner </strong> <br><strong>1.0 FTE Ongoing</strong></p>
<p>Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial advice, analysis, and insights that support informed decision-making and long-term sustainability across our school network.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Business Intelligence Lead, you will partner with school leaders and key stakeholders to drive financial performance, optimise reporting, and support government funding, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p><strong>In this diverse and influential role, you will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop financial models, forecasts, and performance reporting.</li>
<li>Analyse school performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.</li>
<li>Provide expert advice on government funding and compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Partner with Principals, Business Managers, and leadership teams as a trusted financial advisor.</li>
<li>Support strategic projects including workforce planning, enterprise agreement negotiations, and capital funding initiatives.</li>
<li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>You are a commercially-minded finance professional with a passion for using data and insights to influence business outcomes.</p>
<p><strong>To be successful, you will have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>CPA or CA qualification.</li>
<li>Significant experience in financial management, planning, forecasting, and reporting.</li>
<li>Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of government funding frameworks and financial compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li>
</ul>
<p>Experience in the education, government, or not-for-profit sectors and knowledge of TechnologyOne are highly regarded.</p>

<p><strong>The successful applicant will hold or be able to obtain:</strong></p>

<li>Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.</li>
<li>Current National Police Criminal History Check.</li>
<li>Current Tasmanian Driver Licence.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel across Tasmania as required.</li>
</ul>
