<p><strong>Position: Principal</strong></p> <p><strong>Location: St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Gladstone (current enrolment approx. 682 students)</strong></p> <p><strong>TEC Range: $231,088 – $252,486 (including OSHC Allowance) including 12.75% superannuation&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Tenure: Full Time</strong></p> <p><strong>Commencing: January 2027</strong></p> <p><strong>Closing Date: Sunday, 5 July 2026, 5:00pm &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting leadership opportunity to lead the school community of&nbsp;<strong>St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Gladstone </strong>commencing January 2027.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Gladstone</strong>&nbsp;is part of a system of kindergartens, primary schools and colleges operated by Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton (CEDR) in rural and regional centres from Mackay, south to Bundaberg, and west to Longreach.</p> <p>In your role as Principal, you will be supported by the staff of the Catholic Education Office in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Catholic Identity, First Nations Education, Inclusive Education, ICT, Finance, Strategy, Business Development, Human Resources and Student Protection.&nbsp;</p> <p>As Principal at St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, Gladstone, you will report to the Diocesan Director Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton through the Assistant Director: Schools (Southern Region).</p> <p>St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School is located in Gladstone, 107 kilometres south-east of the city of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, was originally opened in 1977 under the guidance of the Marist Sisters and Priests and is a co-educational Prep-to Year 6 Catholic school in Gladstone, growing to be four-streams.
