We are seeking an exceptional Christian educational leader to join us as our Assistant Head of Junior School. This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, systems, and learning environment of our brand new Junior School that will open at the start of the 2027 school year.

<p><strong>Endeavour College</strong></p> <p>For more than 28 years, Endeavour College in Mawson Lakes has thrived as a co-educational secondary school with a young history and a strong reputation for educating the minds, hearts, and spirits of students in Years R -12, under the umbrella of the Lutheran Church in Australia. The Senior School caters for approximately 750 Students.&nbsp; We offer an education that prepares them for their future years, whilst leaving lasting and treasure worthy memories.</p> <p>The Junior School campus (R-6 years) has commenced construction, and it is anticipated to be open at the start of the 2027 school year, catering for approximately 380 students,&nbsp;providing a dedicated environment tailored to younger students, while remaining closely connected to the wider Endeavour College community.</p> <p>The College embraces a culture of fostering educational excellence that is immersed in a Christ-centred approach to education. Our mission - 'A Christian environment for each student and staff member to develop their God-given abilities for LIFE and community'.</p> <p>Our College values of LOVE, COURAGE, FORGIVENESS, and HOPE are upheld through application of The Endeavour Way,&nbsp;and our community values staff&nbsp;who enthusiastically engage in their work as a Christian vocation that is&nbsp;based on caring relationships.</p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>An exciting opportunity to be part of the leadership of the new Junior School is now available.&nbsp; The role will work closely with the Head of Junior School to provide leadership to the Junior School Teaching staff whilst overseeing resources, quality of learning, care and spiritual development for students at the Junior School.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant&nbsp;will have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant leadership experience</li> <li>Hold or be willing and able to obtain and maintain a current clearance to work with children (Working with Children Check (WWCC))&nbsp;</li> <li>Hold or be willing to maintain a current Responding to Risk, Harm and Neglect in an educational setting (RRHAN-EC)</li> <li>Hold a current South Australian Teachers Registration Certificate</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, set, and prioritise work</li> <li>Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills</li> <li>Significant experience leading a team</li> <li>Motivation and a&nbsp;passion to work&nbsp;with and support&nbsp;young people on their educational journey.</li> <li>Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.</li> <li>A practicing Christian,&nbsp;with the ability to relate the Gospel message to their role within the College, and encourage a spirit of Christian care amongst staff and students (highly desirable)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Successful applicants can expect:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to undertake a leadership role in a new Junior School</li> <li>A caring and supportive Christian community environment</li> <li>Supportive leadership, and a collaborative team environment</li> <li>To be a positive and&nbsp;significant role model&nbsp;for all students&nbsp;of Endeavour College</li> </ul> <p>We look forward to appointing a talented and motivated individual to join our College community.
