We seek to foster a commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion to live life in such a way as to bring honour and glory to God, in staff and students alike.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Teach Health and Physical Education classes across ELC - 6.</li> <li>Support a strategic approach to growing participation and excellence across the College sports program.</li> <li>Support and assist with coordination of the Physical Education program including internal and external sporting events (e.g. Athletics Day, Swimming Carnival, SACSA participation).</li> <li>Provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for students.</li> <li>Work cooperatively with colleagues in a team setting providing a curriculum which is challenging and engaging for students.</li> <li>Work in collaboration with other staff to ensure a distinctive Christian education by motivating, inspiring and aligning practice with the College Vision, Mission and Values.</li> <li>Encourage students in a positive and supportive learning environment where student achievements are acknowledged.</li> </ul> <p>For further information regarding the position, please view the full position description available on our website at&nbsp;<a href="https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment" rel="nofollow"><u>https://emmauscc.sa.edu.au/about/employment</u></a></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.</li> <li>Demonstrated passion for Biblically based Christian education.</li> <li>An appropriate qualification in Teacher Education, with a focus on Health and Physical Education.</li> <li>Demonstrated passion and ability to teach Health and Physical Education to students across ELC - Year 6.</li> <li>A demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential, catering for students with a range of learning abilities.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in working with staff, parents and students.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability in problem solving, flexibility, priority setting and time management.</li> <li>Current Teachers’ Registration, valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>At Emmaus Christian College, we value our employees beyond the workplace.
