<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
The successful applicant will join the TAS team. The position of Learning Support Officer (TAS Assistant) is to support the administrative functions of the College TAS Department.<strong> This is a job-share position 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), 28 hours per fortnight (8.00am to 3.30pm).</strong>You must be able to demonstrate:</p>
<ul>
<li>experience using equipment in the kitchens, textile labs and timber workshops, or a keen willingness to learn, in order to assist in the preparation of materials for any TAS classes</li>
<li>experience in using 3D printers and laser cutters is desired but not essential</li>
<li>an ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member</li>
<li>an ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful</li>
<li>effective communication skills both written and verbal</li>
<li>attention to detail</li>
<li>a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification</li>
<li>competence and confidence in using a variety of ICT including Microsoft Office Applications.</li>
