<p>Loreto College Ballarat, one of regional Victoria’s leading Catholic girls’ schools, invites applications for the role of Food Tech Cleaner &amp; Canteen Assistant to join our team.</p> <p>Founded in 1875 by Mother Gonzaga Barry, Loreto College Ballarat was the first Loreto school in Australia and continues in the tradition of Mary Ward. The values of Freedom, Justice, Sincerity, Verity and Felicity underpin all aspects of College life.</p> <p>This part-time position (16 hours per week) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the College's Food Technology facilities. In this role, you will be working afternoon shifts (3 - 4 hours) to ensure kitchens, workspaces, equipment and storage areas are cleaned, reset and prepared for daily use by students and staff.</p> <p>The role involves the cleaning of kitchen benches, sinks, cupboards, appliances, utensils and equipment, laundering kitchen linen, maintaining staff kitchen facilities, unpacking deliveries and ensuring supplies are organised and stored appropriately. You will also assist in the canteen (1 shift per fortnight) providing general customer service and food preparation support.</p> <p>The successful applicant must be available to work afternoons and will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleaning. Experience in commercial cleaning, school environments, hospitality venues or similar settings will be highly regarded.
