<p>A Student Welfare Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring students are safe, supported, and able to succeed both academically and personally. They act as a trusted point of contact for students facing challenges, helping to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all individuals feel valued. By addressing wellbeing concerns early and promoting positive behaviours, they contribute to improved engagement, resilience, and overall student outcomes. Ultimately, their work supports not just academic success, but the development of confident, capable, and emotionally healthy young people.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications and Eligibility</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li>ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance</li>
<li>Completed Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care, or Diploma or Bachelor in relevant field</li>
<li>Responding to and preventing cyber bullying training</li>
</ul>
