<p><strong>Commencing Term 1, 2027</strong></p> <p><strong>Leadership position – 3 year appointment.</strong><br><br> &nbsp;</p> <p>Suitably experienced, qualified future focused teachers are invited to apply for this permanent teaching position with the leadership appointment as Head of Mathematics for a 3-year period, <strong>commencing Term 1 2027.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The opportunity</strong><br> The Head of Department (Mathematics)is a key middle leadership position responsible for leading, developing and promoting high-quality Mathematics programs across Years 7-12, and for fostering authentic and engaging learning experiences across the department. &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Learning and Teaching, this role provides effective middle leadership of the Mathematics Department, aligning departmental practice with the College’s Strategic Plan and educational priorities. The Head of Mathematics leads and supports a team of teachers, building capacity through collaboration, professional growth, and clear expectations for teaching, assessment and student outcomes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The role is central to driving an academic improvement agenda within the department, using data-informed practices to enhance student learning and achievement.
