Radford College is seeking a permanent, part-time (10am - 4pm) qualified Nurse to support the health, wellbeing and safety of our students and staff.

<p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p>
<p>The College is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to support the health, wellbeing and safety of our students and staff. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, compassionate, and committed to promoting a safe and healthy learning environment for all members of our College community.</p>
<p>The College Nurse will serve as the primary provider of nursing care to all students at the College, whilst supporting the Senior Nurse with other duties as needed. This is a part-time, term-time role for 5 days a week and the hours for this role are 10:00am – 4.00pm.<br>

<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>
<p>An excellent opportunity is available for a highly experienced Nurse to provide primary health care services to students and the wider College community. </p>
<p>This role is integral in supporting health promotion initiatives and preventative care across the School. Key responsibilities include responding to medical incidents, managing First Aid classes and training, and providing first aid to students, staff, visitors both on campus and when required at School sporting venues. <br>

<p><strong>About you</strong></p>
<p>You are a qualified and compassionate Nurse committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of students and the wider campus community. You demonstrate sound clinical judgement, discretion, and the ability to respond calmly and professionally in a busy school environment. </p>
<p>With excellent communication and organisational skills, you build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality. You are proactive, adaptable, and aligned with the values of a school community that priorities safety, respect and care. </p>
<p>You will possess excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously as required. You will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College.</p>
<p><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice in a school environment</li>
<li>Demonstrated recent clinical practice within an acute care setting</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently communicate with senior management, colleagues and stakeholders</li>
<li>Strong organization skills and proficiency of basic computer software to support administrative tasks while maintaining privacy and confidentiality</li>
<li>Excellent level of attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure</li>
<li>Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience</li>
<li>Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal, as well as excellent time management skills</li>
<li>Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare</li>
<li>Be reliable and punctual</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Formal qualification in the medical field as a nurse or paraprofessional </li>
<li>Current AHPRA Registration</li>
<li>Demonstrated recent clinical practice within an acute care setting (within the last 3 years)<br>
