<p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>
At St Gertrude's Catholic Primary School, our Mission is to provide Catholic education that is deeply anchored in faith, marked by educational excellence and accessible to all who seek it. As a member of the St Gertrude's Diverse Learning team, you will work collaboratively to ensure access and participation for every student at St Gertrude's.<br><br>
In this role you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li>
<li>identify student needs and deliver tailored, trauma-informed support, creating a safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive</li>
<li>partner closely with Classroom Teachers to co-design and implement learning adjustments, while mentoring and developing the capabilities of our Learning Support Officers (LSOs)</li>
<li>connect meaningfully with students, caregivers, school staff, and external professionals to build collaborative, goal-driven supports to optimize student outcomes</li>
<li>oversee NCCD requirements and Disability Standards with precision, maintaining robust records and evaluating interventions to continuously improve student outcomes.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>post graduate qualifications in the area of Diverse Learning or a willingness to engage in post graduate studies</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li>
<li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li>
