<p>Applicants with a complementary second subject area will be considered favourably.</p>
<p><strong>Full Time Permanent position to commence from Term 3, 2026 (negotiable)</strong></p>
<p><strong>$92,293 – $130,996 base salary per annum + 12.75% superannuation (depending on experience).</strong></p>
<p>This position is based at our White Rock Campus in the vibrant tropical city of Cairns.</p>

<p>The successful applicant will be responsible for:</p>

<li>Designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned to QCAA requirements, ensuring students are motivated, curious and prepared for assessments.</li>
<li>Using evidence‑based pedagogies to build deep understanding of business concepts, critical thinking, and real-world application.</li>
<li>Integrating current business trends, case studies, and enterprise skills to connect classroom learning with real‑world business practice.</li>
<li>Applying the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL) </li>
<li>Encouraging students to be lifelong learners</li>
<li>Contributing to the co-curricular programs at TAS and implement ‘best practice’ curriculum in teaching</li>
<li>Encouraging students to take responsibility in their actions and build awareness for the need for respect in interpersonal relationships</li>
<li>Nurturing the whole child; physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively, while celebrating diversity and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment. </li>

<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education or a Degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education.</li>
<li>National Register Screen (Anglican School’s Commission) </li>
<li>Teachers Only - Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration</li>
<li>HLTAID012 Certificate – Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting </li>
<li>HLTAID009 Certificate – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) </li>
