We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher's Aide for this important and rewarding role, commencing on Monday 20 July, two days per week (Tuesday & Wednesday).

Located in the Hills District in Sydney’s northwest, the College has modern facilities, is very well resourced and can be easily accessed by car or the Metro Northwest rail.</p> <p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>The role of the Teacher’s Aide is to support student learning by working collaboratively with teachers. This partnership aims to develop and implement strategies to allow students with a diagnosed disability, or other identified needs, to engage in the curriculum and other school activities.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>working as part of a collaborative team to build positive relationships with students to support them in their learning&nbsp;</li> <li>supporting students in classrooms across all KLAs&nbsp;</li> <li>working with individual students on a 1:1 or small group basis</li> <li>assisting teachers with modification / differentiation of programs/ assessments</li> <li>supporting teachers implementing individual learning plans for students&nbsp;</li> <li>attending meetings and professional learning opportunities as required</li> <li>assisting with the collection of data for the NCCD</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be an effective communicator, with strong literacy and numeracy skills, and be able to perceive the needs of individual students in a class setting and take practical steps to meet those needs.</p> <p><strong>The Contract</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will be employed under the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The MEA outlines employee salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.</p> <p><strong>Child Safety</strong></p> <p>The College actively promotes the safety and wellbeing of all students and requires all prospective staff to be suitable and committed to protecting students from harm in the school environment.
