As part of an exciting period of growth and strategic transformation, the College is seeking an exceptional and experienced leader to take on the newly created role of Head of Advancement. This is a significant leadership opportunity for a highly capable professional who can drive enrolment growth, strengthen community engagement and build a contemporary Advancement function.

<p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The Head of Advancement will lead the College’s Advancement strategy across enrolments, alumni engagement, community relations, partnerships and philanthropy.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how the College connects with current and prospective families, alumni and the broader community, while leading initiatives that strengthen engagement, reputation and future growth.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Leading and implementing the College’s Advancement strategy</li> <li>Driving enrolment growth, conversion and retention initiatives</li> <li>Overseeing alumni engagement and community connection programs</li> <li>Developing fundraising, partnership and sponsorship opportunities</li> <li>Leading and mentoring the Advancement team</li> <li>Using data and insights to inform strategy and decision-making</li> <li>Working collaboratively with Marketing and College leadership to strengthen the College brand and community presence</li> <li>Significant experience in advancement, enrolments, stakeholder engagement, fundraising or community relations</li> <li>Proven leadership capability within complex organisations</li> <li>Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship-building skills</li> <li>Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to deliver operational outcomes</li> <li>Experience leading growth, engagement or business development initiatives</li> <li>A highly professional, collaborative and future-focused approach</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will be a strategic and relationship-driven leader with:</p> <p>Experience within education, not-for-profit or community-based organisations will be highly regarded.</p> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <p>At Mount Lilydale Mercy College, we value our people and are committed to creating a workplace where staff feel supported, connected and empowered to thrive.</p> <ul> <li>Inclusive and vibrant community</li> <li>Passionate and dedicated team environment</li> <li>Professional growth opportunities</li> <li>Excellent facilities and resources</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li> <li>Salary packaging opportunities</li> <li>Onsite parking provided</li> </ul> <p>Applications close at 9.00am on <strong>Monday 8 June 2026</strong>.
