<p>Christ the Priest (CtP) Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p> <p>The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic teacher of physical education, who is able to collaborate with others as part of a specialist team working towards improving learning outcomes for all students in their care. A passion for outdoor education and an understanding of catering to a diverse community is essential.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Selection Criteria:</u></strong></p> <p>1. Be faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students&nbsp;</p> <p>2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff and parents</p> <p>3. Strong behaviour management practices</p> <p>4. Curriculum knowledge in the area of Health and Physical Education - Movement and Physical Activity and ability to engage students in inclusive ways in this area of the curriculum.</p> <p>5. Ability to administrate whole school sporting events, organise external sporting events and interschool events with strong understanding of compliance and risk management.</p> <p><strong><u>Special Requirements</u></strong></p> <p>The successful applicant should:</p> <p>-accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable.</p> <p>-be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices</p> <p>-have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct</p> <p>-have read, and be aware of, the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education' and our Privacy statement</p> <p>-hold a current VIT registration</p> <p>Please note, an appointment may be made prior to the closing date if a suitable applicant has been identified fulfilling the requirements of the school and the position.</p>
