Damascus College is seeking a proactive and customer-focused ICT Service Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for technical support across the College.

<p><strong>ICT Service Desk Officer</strong><br><strong>Full Time | Ongoing</strong></p> <p>Damascus College is seeking a proactive and customer-focused ICT Service Desk Officer to be the first point of contact for technical support across the College. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering variety, challenge and the opportunity to make a real impact.</p> <p>As ICT Service Desk Officer, you will deliver both Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support, ensuring a responsive and reliable service experience. Working across classrooms, offices and learning spaces, you will play a key role in keeping systems running smoothly and enabling a modern, student-centred technology environment.</p> <p>This role offers a diverse and hands-on opportunity to deliver frontline ICT support while contributing to continuous improvement, innovation, and a high-quality user experience.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide ICT support via service desk, phone, email and in person</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and system issues</li> <li>Support device setup, deployment and lifecycle management</li> <li>Assist with Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID and endpoint management (Intune/SCCM)</li> <li>Deliver in-class and on-site support to minimise disruption to learning</li> <li>Provide basic AV support for events and presentations</li> <li>Contribute to documentation, asset management and service improvements</li> <li>Support cyber safety practices and secure use of ICT</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in ICT service desk or desktop support environments</li> <li>Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for Windows devices and cloud-based services</li> <li>Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and administration, including SharePoint</li> <li>Experience using ICT ticketing systems for incident logging, categorisation and resolution tracking.</li> <li>Operational experience providing basic Audio Visual support for events and presentations.</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li> <li>Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and in a team</li> <li>A commitment to child safety and working in a school environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Damascus College</strong></p> <p>At Damascus College, we are committed to fostering curiosity, innovation, and community.
