This is a permanent full-time position, commencing as soon as possible or at the start of Term 3.</p> <p>The successful candidate will teach across a range of comprehensive classes, with the ability to engage and support students of varying ability levels.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across a range of classes</li> <li>Differentiate teaching to support diverse learners and maximise student growth</li> <li>Contribute to a culture of high expectations and strong academic outcomes</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues</li> <li>Support the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College</li> <li>Uphold and contribute to the Augustinian Catholic ethos of the College</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>You will demonstrate:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience teaching Mathematics, including Stage 6</li> <li>The capacity to teach across a full range of comprehensive classes</li> <li>Strong classroom practice and a commitment to student learning outcomes</li> <li>The ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students</li> <li>Excellent collaboration and communication skills</li> <li>A commitment to ongoing professional growth</li> <li>Eligibility to teach in NSW and a current NESA accreditation</li> <li>A willingness to support the Catholic identity and mission of the College</li> <li>A strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing</li> </ul> <p><strong>Child Safeguarding</strong></p> <p>St Augustine’s College is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students.
