<p>St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar is seeking a teamporary part-time (31.5hrs p/w) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Worker to join the team as soon as possible for the remainder of the year.<br><br>
St Joseph’s College, founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1883 is a co-educational secondary school providing a rich and diverse educational experience for 940 students from Years 7 to 12.<br>

The purpose of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Education Worker is to focus on supporting students, teachers and school communities in the areas of culture, spirituality and student wellbeing and engagement. Promoting the intent of the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle’s Reconciliation Action Plan – Reflect, liaising with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives within the school will be essential to the realisation of these objectives. </p>
