The College is seeking a qualified teacher for its Inclusion Program, delivering tailored learning in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

<p>Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. Located within Cammeraigal Country, on Sydney’s lower north shore, Riverview is a leading independent school, which delivers a holistic education to both day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.</p> <p>The College is seeking applications from suitably qualified teachers who wish to be considered for the College's Special Education Inclusion Program. The position is 1 FTE, until the end of the academic year with the possibility of extension. Successful candidate would start as soon as possible.</p> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <p>The successful applicant will:</p> <ul> <li>have the experience teaching a learning program which fosters a purposeful progression in learning, and meets the specific needs of Inclusion Program students referencing the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Life Skills Syllabus documents.</li> <li>demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team</li> <li>demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning</li> <li>demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College</li> <li>be willing to contribute to the Co-curriculum Programs at the College</li> <li>hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people.</li> <li>accredited with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to be eligible to teach in NSW.</li> </ul> <p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p> <p>Application must be submitted via our online system and should include the following information in PDF format:</p> <ul> <li>Cover letter</li> <li>A résumé outlining qualifications, relevant experience, and the names and contact details of two referees.
