<p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan, deliver and assess engaging English and Humanities lessons across Years 7–12, including VCE</li>
<li>Implement differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learners, including EAL/D students and those with additional learning needs</li>
<li>Use data-driven practices and formative assessment to improve student outcomes</li>
<li>Contribute to curriculum planning, unit development, and whole-school literacy initiatives</li>
<li>Build positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and the broader school community</li>
<li>Participate in co-curricular activities, staff professional learning, and collaborative team meetings</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records, reports, and student documentation in line with school policy</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What we are looking for</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility to register</li>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualification in Education with a specialisation in English and/or Humanities</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience teaching English, including Year 11 and 12 / VCE English or Literature</li>
<li>Proven ability to differentiate instruction and apply evidence-based teaching strategies</li>
<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills</li>
<li>Enthusiasm for extra-curricular involvement, student wellbeing, and whole-school improvement</li>
