Key elements of the strategy focus on opportunities to reimagine learning that enables members of our school community to be creative, self-directed and critical thinkers, who are inspired to learn, whose natural inquisitiveness is nurtured and who strive for excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>THE POSITION</strong></p> <p>The People and Culture Partner (Employee Relations) is a key member of the People and Culture Team, partnering closely with leaders to support the effective management of employee performance, conduct and workplace matters.</p> <p>This role provides both advisory and hands-on support across a broad range of employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, return to work coordination and industrial compliance.</p> <p>You will play a key role in building leader capability, supporting early intervention, and embedding consistent, best practice approaches across the College. The role contributes to a safe, respectful and high-performing workplace culture, aligned with College values and expectations.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Providing advice and support to leaders on performance, conduct, grievances and workplace concerns</li> <li>Supporting and guiding leaders through performance and improvement processes</li> <li>Leading workplace investigations, ensuring procedural fairness and equitable outcomes</li> <li>Coaching leaders to build confidence and capability in managing people matters</li> <li>Supporting the consistent application of policies, procedures and industrial frameworks</li> <li>Coordinating return to work processes and supporting WorkCover claims management</li> <li>Identifying risks and contributing to continuous improvement of People and Culture practices</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p> <p><strong>Essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field</li> <li>Experience in employee relations, including performance management, conduct matters or investigations</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and relevant employment legislation</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders</li> <li>Well-developed communication skills and sound professional judgement</li> <li>High level of discretion and ability to manage sensitive matters</li> <li>Commitment to working within and positively contributing to a values-based organisation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience within an education setting or familiarity with CEMEA (2022)</li> <li>Experience in learning and development or facilitation</li> <li>Professional membership (e.g. AHRI)</li> </ul> <p>this position requires a current:</p> <ul> <li>Police Check</li> <li>Working with Children Check</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>APPLICATION PROCESS</strong></p> <p>Applications must include:</p> <ul> <li>a cover letter, and</li> <li>a resume</li> </ul> <p>and can be addressed to Ms Anna Negro, Principal.</p> <p>Candidates viewing this advertisement on external websites such as Seek must visit the College website to access the position description and attachments.</p> <p>Please note, applications sent directly to a member of the College will not be accepted.</p> <p>While the College appreciates agencies may have suitable candidates for this position, we are unable to accept agency resumés.</p> <p>Applications close 9:00am Friday 8 May or until filled.</p>
