<p>We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Officer to join our team. This is a part time role with flexibility for increased hours during peak periods. MACS is the employer of employees at De La Salle College.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Job Description:</u></strong></p> <p>Your primary responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement a cyclical maintenance schedule to ensure gardens and grounds are well-presented and maintained.</li> <li>Undertake general maintenance tasks, including weeding, watering, fertilising, mowing, and planting as required.</li> <li>Manage daily Open-Up and lock-up schedules.</li> <li>Lead and assist team members in setting up areas for assemblies, exams, and special events.</li> <li>Review and assign maintenance requests via MyMaintenance system.</li> <li>Monitor corridors, classrooms, and key facilities to ensure safety and functionality</li> <li>Actively promote OH&amp;S compliance across all College activities</li> <li>Attend training and professional development programs to ensure compliance with updated OH&amp;S requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Skills/Experience Required:</u></strong></p> <p>We require the following qualifications and qualities in the ideal candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a similar role</li> <li>Working with Children Check for Victoria and National Police Record Check required prior to commencement.</li> <li>Proficient documentation and computer skills</li> <li>High level of professional personal presentation;</li> <li>Enthusiastic and highly motivated to contribute</li> <li>Ability to build and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Special Requirements:</u></strong></p> <p>At De La Salle College, the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children are paramount.
