<p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>Seymour College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Officer (ESO) to work with our Middle Primary students. This fixed-term role works 37.5 hours per week during term time through to the end of 2026, is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and student wellbeing.</p> <p>Working closely with the classroom teacher and Learning Support team, you will play a key role in supporting student learning and engagement. You will assist in delivering tailored learning programs, including supporting students with Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The key responsibilities are to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide in-class support to a Year 4 cohort under the direction of the classroom teacher</li> <li>Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group support for students requiring additional assistance</li> <li>Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and learning materials</li> <li>Support the implementation of individual learning strategies and programs</li> <li>Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress</li> <li>Assist with administrative tasks related to learning support programs</li> <li>Promote student wellbeing through a supportive and encouraging approach</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <p>You are a collaborative and proactive professional who is passionate about supporting student learning.
