<p>St Paul’s Catholic School is a vibrant K–6 Catholic community located in Bridgewater, approximately 20km north of Hobart.</p>
<p>The school is recognised for its strong culture of care, pastoral support, and commitment to the holistic development of every child. With an enrolment of around 200 students, St Paul’s provides a nurturing environment where each learner is valued and encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, morally and emotionally.</p>
<p>We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, innovative and enthusiastic Teachers who are committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education and who will contribute positively to our school community.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The Primary Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the Catholic Identity and Evangelising Mission of the school. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider community, the teacher ensures the spiritual, academic and wellbeing needs of all students are met.</p>

<li>Supporting and celebrating the diversity of learners and catering for individual needs.</li>
<li>Contributing actively and professionally to a collaborative Catholic school environment.</li>
<li>Promoting a culture that encourages critical thinking, discernment and a love of learning.</li>
<li>Engaging in open, honest and respectful dialogue with colleagues and leadership.</li>
<li>Recognising and supporting parents as the first educators of their children.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills, Experience and Attributes</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of how students learn.</li>
<li>Understanding of the Australian Curriculum in a Tasmanian Catholic context.</li>
<li>Knowledge of current pedagogy and evidence‑based teaching practice.</li>
<li>Ability to create and maintain a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.</li>
<li>Capacity to assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.</li>
<li>Ability to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>Required</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania).</li>
<li>Qualified and registered Teacher in Tasmania, or ability to obtain registration prior to commencement.</li>
</ul>
