<p>The role is inclusive of assisting student learning in the Italian language :</p> <ul> <li>under the general supervision of teaching staff, provide students with rich and rewarding Italian language experiences</li> <li>undertake learning support activities involving specialist cultural understanding and skills</li> <li>assisting students with classroom activities using the Italian language</li> <li>supporting teachers to develop their knowledge of the Italian language</li> <li>acting as a cultural support person or mentor</li> <li>assisting in the delivery of a culturally inclusive curriculum</li> <li>participate in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of student learning in the Italian language</li> <li>cater for the individual needs of students in a supportive, learning environment</li> <li>have the ability to work and plan collaboratively&nbsp;</li> <li>contribute to the ongoing professional learning of the school community</li> </ul>
