<p><strong>Sustainable Racing Team (SRT) Coordinator</strong><br><strong>Part Time (0.7 FTE)</strong></p> <p>Damascus College is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on, and technically driven SRT Coordinator to lead our innovative Sustainable Racing Team in a hybrid role that combines practical onsite work with flexible working arrangements.</p> <p>SRT is an exciting extra-curricular program where students in Years 7–12 design, build and race human-powered vehicles and compete in major events across Victoria and South Australia, including the iconic Maryborough Energy Breakthrough.</p> <p>With over 35 active students and a strong volunteer network, the program continues to grow and evolve, offering an exciting opportunity for the right person to make a lasting impact.</p> <p>As SRT Coordinator, you will work closely with a passionate group of students, volunteers, and staff to lead and manage all aspects of the program, including:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting students in the design, construction and maintenance of vehicles</li> <li>Coordinating workshops, training sessions and race events</li> <li>Managing communication with students, families, volunteers and event organisers</li> <li>Developing the annual SRT calendar and coordinating event participation</li> <li>Overseeing workshop safety, risk management and compliance</li> <li>Supervising physical training and preparation for race events</li> <li>Supporting fundraising, community engagement and school events</li> <li>Maintaining the workshop, tools, and equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Experience</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a hands on leader who enjoys mentoring young people and bringing projects to life.
