St Andrew’s Cathedral School is seeking a dedicated and organised Personal Assistant to the Head of Middle School to join our administration team in Sydney Square.

<p><strong>Role Purpose</strong></p> <p>The fundamental purpose of this role is to provide high-level administrative assistance and support to the Head of Middle School , as well as to coordinate significant school events. You will work closely with the Middle School leadership team to foster a supportive environment for students, parents, and staff.</p> <p>&nbsp;This is a <strong>term-time only position</strong>, working Monday to Friday &nbsp;from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Special Events: </strong>Prepare and organise key events including Welcome Evenings, Leadership Commissioning, Annual Awards Assemblies, and Parent-Teacher Interview evenings.</li> <li><strong>Student Administration: </strong>Manage student sign-ins/outs, oversee Middle School detentions, and maintain comprehensive student files.</li> <li><strong>Executive Support: </strong>Manage the Head of Middle School’s (HoMS) calendar and emails, process leave applications, and develop office procedures to increase efficiencies.</li> <li><strong>Communication: </strong>Act as a primary point of contact for parent enquiries via telephone and email.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in&nbsp;Microsoft Office and&nbsp;Edumate&nbsp;(or similar school management systems).</li> <li>An ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to diffuse difficult situations.</li> <li>A methodical approach to tasks with a high level of attention to detail.</li> <li>A current First Aid certificate or willingness to acquire certification.</li> <li>Demonstrated involvement in an Anglican Church (or equivalent) and a commitment to supporting the principles of Christian education</li> </ul> <p><strong>Applications close: 1 April 2026.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><i>Please submit application as one document only, including Cover Letter, CV, references and any relevant credentials.</i></p> <p>Interviews will commence as applications are received.</p> <p><strong>For a PD, to apply and for further employment benefits at SACS:&nbsp;go to - </strong><a href="https://www.sacs.nsw.edu.au/employment/" rel="nofollow">https://www.sacs.nsw.edu.au/employment/</a> &nbsp; OR APPLY FOR JOB</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why&nbsp;St Andrew's Cathedral School?&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>St Andrew’s Cathedral School was recently awarded the&nbsp;<strong>5 Star Employer of Choice 2025</strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<i>The Educator</i>&nbsp;for positive employee experience and a deeply supportive, collegiate culture.
